1. What these terms cover

These terms cover the DocGraph ModelFit desktop app and this website. DocGraph ModelFit is published by DocGraph. By using DocGraph ModelFit you agree to these terms.

2. Licence

DocGraph ModelFit is free and open source under the MIT licence. You may use, copy, modify and redistribute it, including commercially, under that licence's conditions. The open-source components it includes are listed, with their licences, in the third-party notices shipped with the app.

The MIT licence covers the code. It does not grant rights in the DocGraph or DocGraph ModelFit names or logos, other than to refer to the project accurately.

3. Recommendations are estimates

DocGraph ModelFit estimates which AI models fit your computer, how much memory they need and how fast they will run. These are estimates from published model data and your detected hardware. A model it recommends may still run slower than shown, or not at all, and one it rules out may work. Check before relying on a result, especially for anything you pay for.

4. Models and Ollama

DocGraph ModelFit does not distribute AI models. When you install one, Ollama downloads it from its publisher under that publisher's licence. Some model licences restrict commercial use or set acceptable-use rules. Check the model's licence before using it. Ollama is separate software under its own terms.

5. Price

DocGraph ModelFit is provided free of charge. We may in future offer additional features or services under separate terms. Features you received free of charge under these terms stay free of charge.

6. Updates

The app checks for updates and installs one only when you choose. We may change or stop providing DocGraph ModelFit or parts of it.

7. No warranty and liability

DocGraph ModelFit is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, as the MIT licence states. We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, where mandatory product liability law applies, and where we have fraudulently concealed a defect. Otherwise our liability is excluded, to the extent permitted by the applicable law.

8. Consumer law

If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms removes the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.

9. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms for future use and will publish the new version here with a new date.
